B.1 Differences between self-compensating and turbulent drippers. What happens if I have uneven topography?
Self-compensating drippers (PC) are designed for inclined and varied topographies or for long fields. Whatever the pressure, they maintain a constant flow, allowing you to build an effective precision irrigation system no matter how complicated your landscape or how long the rows of crops are. Non-PC droppers are ideal for flat topographies or shorter crop rows.
B.2 Why is the thickness of the wall of the pipe important?
The thicker the micro irrigation pipe, the more durable it will be to external damage or system pressure. It will offer greater resistance to physical damage and will allow operating the system with a wider range of pressures.
The thinner drippers are more suitable for elimination every few years or even in each crop cycle.
They are also less expensive, so replacing them is not a big cost.
The average wall drippers are somewhere in between, offering a balance between cost and duration.
